New Facilities in Continental Airlines Flight Status Business Class Cabins
United Airlines, which merged with Continental Airlines Flight Status in March 2012, offers various facilities and services on its Business Class domestic and international flights. United Business is the name of the domestic travel and Business First caters to the international travel passengers.
Onboard the United Business cabin, the passengers get comfortable and spacious seating options along with complimentary blankets. Meals service is available on flights that take longer than two hours to reach the destination; however, the passengers get complimentary beverages that include beer, spirits, soft drinks and fresh brewed coffee. Complimentary copy of Hemisphere magazine, DIRCTV facility, complimentary headsets and movies for flights that take longer than three hours- are the main entertainment facilities that it offers to the passengers.
United BusinessFirst on international flights have complimentary skin care products as a complimentary gift for the passengers and a duvet and blanket service. The passengers can recline the seats to fully flat beds and this facility is available on all 747 and 757 aircraft and on some of the 767 and 777 aircraft. Every seat has an individual reading light too.
As soon as the passengers settle down, they get a hot towel service and a pre-departure drink. The passengers can select a variety of meals from the pre-printed menu and the choices include salads, appetizers/starters, main course meals (that include the local cuisine), juices and desserts.
The entertainment facilities on Continental Airlines Flight Status Business Class cabin include 15.4-inch video monitor with 150 hours of on-demand entertainment, audio channels, laptop power source, USB ports, newspapers and magazines, duty-free on-board shopping and noise reducing headsets.
